又一张后摇--来自the album leaf，他其实是Jimmy Lavalle一个人的乐队。第一张专集《an orchestrated rise to fall》生于1999年，接着是2001年的《one day i’ll be on time》。同年the album leaf为sigur ros的美国首场巡演唱开场，之后他获得了在sigur ros的工作室里制作新专集的机会。继上张专辑远赴冰島，与Sigur Rós和Mūm合作，這次专辑找來足以与Warp厂牌抗衡的英国DM双人組Telefon Tel Aviv之一的Josh Eutis跨刀，參与鼓机編曲、后制和选曲；The Album Leaf的長期合作伙伴The Black Heart Procession，团員各司其职地担任器乐演奏，主唱Pall Jenkins为专辑献唱几首，将阴沉民谣融化為充满思念的梦幻花草，「Always for You」、「Writing on the Wall」、「Wherever I Go」是痴情郎只为你的情人物語；专辑中当然少不了Album Leaf的招牌向日葵喧暖，软語溫润的合成电子完美模样，像加了微量糖水的柠檬汁。
